A treehouse made with recycled wood to teach people that everything could be reused!

A group of students of the landscape architecture course at Chubu Agricultural High School, in Okinawa- Japan, built a treehouse in the schoolyard. The y took three months to be finished and they used only scraps of wood.

In an interview one of the students said that “the hardest part was collecting scrap wood”, they collected the wood from the place where other building where rebuilt. The teacher and advisor of the team, Taku Yonahara, said that the message of this project was that “Recycling waste materials introduces an element of environmental conservation”.

A pine tree has been used as skeleton and they built on it, one of the students said that since the trees and branches are not symmetric, the main difficult was to keep the treehouse level.
