Amazon Science Center

A Science Research and Corporate Environmental Village to conduct research and focus on areas of conservation and climate change and biodiversity.

The project will provide a village and an observation tower that will develop along the trunk. The tower -signed by the British architects Marks Barfield– will be built using bamboo (local material) and will reach an height six miles. People can reach the top by a spiralling central staircase, moreover three different circular decks -linked by the staircase- with the function of terrace have been designed to allow researchers and tourists to observe the rainforest canopy from above.

You can find more information about this project, looking at the Amazon Charitable Trust‘s website.
