The tree house of Doug and Linda Studebacker is well done descripted by its owners:

“Overlooking San Francisco Bay this is the best of both worlds… perched above it all in a quiet, urban forested canyon with a 20 minute drive to glorious San Francisco via 280 or 101. 7 minutes to BART or CalTrain at Millbrea station. 10 minutes from SFO. Walk to the beautiful Mills Canyon 3.1 mile loop trail. Bikes available for loan to ride along the Crystal Springs Reservoir or the Bay. Street parking directly below the Treehouse. Come nest in our Treehouse, privately situated in a stately California Coast Live Oak and surrounded by Redwoods, Fir, Oak and Birch trees. Get in touch with your “inner child”, your “inner primate”!
Suitable for candle-light dinners. French doors, stained glass and other tasteful, yet whimsical appointments. Rocking chair on tree house deck with view of the Bay. WiFi, lighting and electricity to charge your smartphone. Cable TV with essential DVD collection. Fluffy duvets/pillows and passive, eco-friendly heating to keep you warm and toasty. This is a four season accommodation with easy access to San Francisco and the Bay Area.
Treehouse sleeps 1 on raised lower level bed, 2-3 in queen-size sleeping loft above. Serenity for 1, ideal for 2 or 3 and sleeps 4 if you reeeeally like each other! Private access to adjacent indoor bath, shower & kitchenette in lower level of family log cabin home.
Secluded, wooded property on cul-du-sac street. Family organic vegetable/herb garden, greenhouse and chicken coop in backyard. Would love to share this with you during your visit. Continental breakfast with fruits, breads, coffee/tea and fresh organic hard-boiled eggs! Have a magical stay.”  Doug and Linda Studebacker

People can reach the tree house by two wooden stairs; the first one arrives to a platform, a sort of terrace where you can have a first view to the surrounding nature, then from here a second stairs starts and you can reach the house.

Another terrace is in the tree house where people can relax or drinking something looking at the landscape. Moreover from a branch hangs a swing for the children.

So if you are curious, just call them and go to see their tree house, and if you want to see it, look at the video
